Peek-a-boo Logic

Peek-a-boo is more than a game. It builds logic and skills such as object permanence (the ability to know that when something disappears from sight, it still exists). At Koti Academy we love simple games such as peek-boo because this activity helps young children realize that when mom and dad drop them off, they will come back later in the day.

We reassure them after waving good-bye for the day, "Even if we don't see mommy and daddy right now, they are just at work and still love you. They will be back soon."

Similarly, if a toy is hidden under a basket, it is still exists! Peek-b-boo! Play everyday 😊
